Kirilays® HACa is Pharmaesthetics’ calcium hydroxyapatite—a semi-solid, biodegradable, and sterile injectable suspension composed of CaHA microspheres (25–45 μm) suspended in a water-based carboxymethylcellulose gel with glycerol — once the gel is absorbed, the microspheres remain and initiate the process of neocollagenesis, stimulating collagen production and restoring skin structures for greater support.
Initially, type III collagen is formed, and after about 6 months, there is a predominant increase in type I collagen and elastin, resulting from the mechanical stretching of fibroblasts and a limited inflammatory response.
This is a biocompatible 100% material, as its chemical structure is similar to that found naturally in human bones and teeth (Saxena; Shukla; Pandey, 2019)—the risk of an adverse reaction is very low.

Regular microspheres—uniform spheres with a standardized size—which facilitate integration into the tissue and reduce irregularities. On average, 25 to 45 micrometers (µm): this range prevents the microspheres from being phagocytosed by macrophages, allowing for sustained biostimulation. Smooth, homogeneous surface: microsphere stability, minimal biological inflammatory response, and predictable distribution within the tissue.
